I just claimed my blog with Technorati. However, they have a backlog and informed me that it may take some time for my claim to be processed. I have no idea what they mean by “some time”.
I have been creating Technorati tags with my post. So, I will continue and hope for the best.

Hi, this is kinda unrelated to the topic but I’m wondering how you create the comment section this way.

I use Google blogspot and my comment section only has the comment box and a scroll down menu for what visitors want to sign in as. At the bottom of the scroll down menu is Anonymous, which I feel most people would prefer.

I want to make the interface more user-friendly to encourage more traffic and comments..

    Please let me know.

    Thank you

@ Nadia – the comments section is the lifeblood of your blog! You’ll definitely want to soup it up. I’m not sure about blogspot, but you might want to think about switching to WordPress for better options. Try different plugins – we use commentluv, but another popular one is disqus. It’s also a good idea to add a Facebook comment plugin on your site. Ask your developer how you can do this!

“A Huge Boost in Search Engine Rankings”

I really wish people wouldn’t overstate so much. A huge boost by registering on Technorati? Man this is nonsense and if you are honest with yourself, you know it.

@Thumoney – sorry to hear you haven’t experienced that Thumoney. It can be tough learning to make Technorati work for you, but if you add it to your strategy and shoot for higher ratings, it can and will give you a search engine boost. Like anything though, it takes time and effort – that’s for sure! – John

your article states how useful is Technorati but i’m little confused on how to start with it and so i need a help over here……

@Devagya, all you need to do is register with them (prove you own your blog by adding a bit of code to it, like you do with Google webmaster tools) then they will rank you as your popularity increases. – John
