Def. see some multiple posts by same page, but figured it might be that page just throwing as many out there as possible at same time. As a page myself, I am trying to encourage my fans to check out that “pages feed” only link on the left hand side. I took a screen capture of it and posted it on my timeline. Of course, the problem remains of how many actually saw that post and then ones who actually take action, well I am sure that is quite limited….I have done it myself on my personal page, but then again, I work in social media πŸ™‚

That’s good thinking jknapp – during this interim phase, maybe we all need to be screencapturing what is going on for our page fans!

It’s because Facebook has only rolled it out on some accounts – I’m sure yours will pop up soon πŸ™‚

Sorry try this again: So many invested their marketing and focus instead of a proprietary site and now Facebook owns you and your business. Nothing is free, so no surprise of a new direction. Really nice business plan on their part. Reel ’em in and then start collecting the fees…

Lol, it does seem that way some times. But at this point – businesses need to have a website AND a great Facebook presence to maximize any sort of social strategy online. I just hope Facebook knows what they’re doing!

I’ve noticed that my ‘Promoted posts’ aren’t reaching the same number of people as they were several months ago. I have nearly 800 fans and some promoted posts are only reaching 70-80 of them. Why is this? What is Facebook trying to do now?

    1. John Souza

@Catherine – I wish I knew, but I’ve been getting reports from all sides that numbers have dropped. Though Facebook claims reach hasn’t changed, I just struggle to believe them. We’ll have to wait and see how this settles!

i have a community page i made and i did not spam anyone just regular updates and comments of pages that i liked which showed up in my newsfeed, recently facebook only shows updates from 3 pages when i had updates from a lot of industry related pages. its like they wiped my newsfeed clean and there is no way to get it back1

Any ideas why my Facebook business page is no longer getting newsfeeds from the Pages I have liked? In other words, my Page liked other business Pages that I thought would offer interesting things to share with my audience, but I’m no longer getting feeds from those pages.

I have a business page and it’s not had a news feed for over 3 days now. I can’t find anything about it and cannot locate a FB support/help function.

      1. John Souza

@Dena and Susan – as far as I know there is only one way to be completely removed from someone’s newsfeed and that’s if they have blocked you or reported you as spam. Otherwise a reduction in interaction results in certain pages being hidden from you – increase interaction and they should show up again. – John

I’ve got the same problem, business page with no news feed, how can I see posts from other businesses I have liked without going to their page and checking every minute/hour/day?!

There are people who organically build their business, and there are people who attempt to work the system with questionable practices.

If you paid for likes and have lost them, tough titty.
