I signed up about a month ago and filled in my profile, but have seen very little activity and don’t intend to spend any time there unless I see evidence that it will get some traction. I’d love an opinion on “authorship markup”??

@Mark – this authorship markup business is a great idea, but whether it will do anything to get people using Google+ more often is another matter. It’s worth getting verified if you do have a lot of quality publications on the internet though. Like Google+ we’ll see where this goes. WordPress plugin developers could come up with a simpler concept.
Can I just say as a web business owner I am getting a little tired of chasing every new “Got to have it” “Got to do it” thing out there. I for one am going to wait at least a year before I even consider Google+ simply because I have no information that shows me that it will actually help my business. Thanks for the article though. Sincerely hope this works well for you guys. π

@Stewie – That’s not a bad plan, if you’re focusing on Facebook instead.
