@Mark – it’s just social sharing tool, or a set of buttons that promote sharing. Just pop them on your website or blog, and they help people bookmark, and spread your post around the net.
@Linda – some buttons are free to use, some you have to pay for. You’ll have to check which buttons your web host wants to use. If they are charging too much, try a freelance site. General code inclusions like buttons can cost you next to nothing!
@Nick – that depends on your perspective and strategy – SEO is only one part of the total picture, you also want to target community building in a great social strategy. The sites you mention are good for SEO, but there are lots of other ways to sell online π
I don’t like using myspace music because it runs slowly on my computer and not many people use it. I tried the youtube thing, but I get nervous when I’m in front of a camera. I’m looking for something kind of like facebook or plurk, but specifically for sharing music.

Why use so many social sharing tools? The actual ones which really works and can influence search engine rankings are as follows:
– Google Plus
– Twitter
– StumbleUpon
– Reddit
That’s it! What else you are doing is total rubbish π

@Designer Kitchens, try the itunes store, spotify for Facebook or Kazaa – all are great music sharing locations!
