Treating b2b social media like b2c social media. They’re different, the audience-building strategies are different, the media are frequently different, and the objectives are frequently different–e.g., lead gen, lead nurturing.
@Robyn – Great suggestion, and you’re definitely right! B2b social media is a lot more complicated than selling directly to a client – and you have to know which one your business will benefit from the most. When you have a community of other businesses your entire marketing approach changes. Why not ask yourself if your business will sell more, if you start making your social media pages exclusively for other businesses! Its worth thinking about. Thanks for the great tip Robyn!
